Looks to be around a 2nd generation VHS source.
As far as being TV sourced or what, I have no idea.
NOT an official release, but no markings of a TV broadcast.
Audio seems to be synced from a better source, and sounds amazing.

This Superb concert was recorded at BBC TV Theatre, Shepherds Bush Green, London, 29th March 1972. The show was broadcast by BBC 2, as part of the BBC’s “Sounds for Saturday”, but this new extended cut includes more songs, more chat and more innuendo. For the first time there's also a chance to see an epic performance of My Ding-a-ling which was to become one of berry's biggest hits.

This is my own capture from digital TV in XP mode and is superb quality in both audio & picture.

David Lindley and his band are also flying in from Los Angeles just for their appearance at the Rockpalast Open Air Festival at the Loreley. It will be David Lindley's only appearance in Europe this year. Lindley is an American and has been on the road under his own name for a little more than a year: Nevertheless, at least for the people on the American west coast that know their music, he has been well- known for a while, particularly because of his long-time work as a guitarist for Jackson Browne. On top of that, he's played with almost everyone: Crosby and Nash, Linda Ronstadt and Ry Cooder are only three names.

David Lindley's career can be divided into four parts: As a fourteen-year old, he began to acquire knowledge of the guitar by copying rock'n'roll singles. In the early '60s, he changed over to acoustic folk music and played in cafes and bars. Around 1965, he formed the cult band 'Kaleidoscope' , with which he wanted to create a "musical synthesis of all music styles". The next step was working together with Jackson Browne, whose records and concerts wouldn't be so well-known without the unique sound of David Lindley's electric steel guitar.

The last station for David Lindley, until now, is his own band, with whom he also appeared to an enthusiastic audience in November, 1981, at the Rockpalast Concert in the Metropol in Berlin. In an almost two-hour long concert, Lindley presents the whole range of his musical abilities: As a guitarist, as a steel-guitarist, as a violinist, with the mandolin guitar and the Hawaiian ukulele, and, of course, as a singer.

The musicians of his band give him optimum support, as singers as well as with their instruments. A cut from this concert, the 'Mercury Blues', caused a great sensation at the 10th Rockpalast Festival: On the one hand, everyone was very impressed with the abilities of this band, and on the other, it was twice as sad that during the second attempt, the high tech messed up the enjoyment of the whole number.

That will surely not happen on August 28th. "David Lindley became a term in all of Europe with his appearance at the Rockpalast. Later, he was able to play in sold-out concert halls. A full-blooded musician who was also able to put 17,000 fans under his spell, with his acoustic pieces."

Additional comments:
A home-made DVD-Video containing the famous concert from Wembley 1985. Great show of the Brothers in Arms tour, containing powerful versions. Nice to see the two guestplayers Nils Lofgren and Hank B. Marvin. Picture and sound quality are both very good. The picture is taken from probably one of the best preserved VHS tapes available and the sound is taken from the best sounding audio soundboard bootleg (Perfect Investigations), except for the songs Tunnel of Love and Solid Rock but which still have good sound. For a long time, there was no soundboard recording known of the song Going Home. Lately, a rare radio show turned up with a perfect soundboard version of this song. So, on this DVD, also the sound of Going Home is as perfect as the rest. And... as a special bonus, the very rare version from Expresso Love is also featured on this DVD! Picture and sound quality are less good than the rest of the recording, but still very nice to see this rare recording which makes this DVD a unique item!

Geetarz says:
Scratchmonkey. Remember that name. As far as audience filmed videos go, this is fantastic work and reflects by far the best audience recorded Clapton DVD to date. Filmed with two cameras seamlessly edited together, the viewer is treated to both wide shots of the stage area and also closeups of the multi camera video from the screens, which is so vivid and sharp that at times it would fool many into thinking this material had been pro shot. Letterboxing the image really adds a nice touch. To cap it off, there is a beautiful authoring job complete with splash screen, full menus and track indices. Sound is passable, but unfortunately not up to par with the excellent video quality. Still, this is far beyond the realm of the average fan-type concert DVD and something that anyone will enjoy.

Performance wise, all you need to do is to look at the look on EC's face in the picture above. Playing in his adopted hometown, with friends and family in attendance, EC took a break during a sweet rendition of "Walk Out in the Rain" to wave to his wife and children, who had just walked down the aisle and were waving to him. The performances that night by all involved were superb, making this easily one of the finest performances of the 2004 tour.

In short, if you plan to only watch one document of the 2004 EC tour - this is the one. Highly recommended.

Hank Williams was the greatest singer-songwriter country music has ever known. He died alone in the back of his Cadillac on the night of New Years Eve 1952, from an overdose of alcohol, barbiturates & morphine. He was on a journey halfway across the country to a gig he would never make, he was 29 years old. This is the life story of Hank Williams.

DVD Format: 4:3 PAL (letterboxed 16:9) with MPEG audio and full menus

Source: TV Broadcast on MCM France, 17 January 2005, 1am to 2.15am
Lineage: DVB Digital Satellite TV -> PC DVB Card -> HD (MPEG-2 TS)

Audio: 256kbps/48KHz MPEG-1, Layer II (original broadcast bitstream)
Video: 720x576 4:3 PAL MPEG-2 (re-encoded from original bitstream)

According to the setlist available at http://www.kaapeli.fi/aiu/ps/
(an excellent site) this is not the complete set - Trampin' (the
opening track) and Stride of the Mind (performed between Jubilee and
Break It Up) were not broadcast.  Strangely, these tracks are also
listed in the closing credits to the broadcast and MCM don't normally
cut a show to fit a certain timeslot - their schedule is irregular.

The video portion of the MPEG-2 digital TV broadcast was not 100% DVD
compliant (it had "long GOPs"), so it needed to be re-encoded in order
to be compatible with all hardware DVD players.  As I had to re-encode
anyway, I took the opportunity to remove the MCM logo which was wholly
contained within the black "letterbox" at the top of the picture.

The original broadcast video stream averaged about 3.5Mbit/s.  In
order to minimise any quality loss when re-encoding, I re-encoded at a
significantly higher bitrate - the resulting video file averaged
around 6Mbit/s.  The audio was not changed from the original broadcast
data.

1971 PBS special,The World`s Greatest Unknown Guitarist

1971 PBS Documentary look at Roy Buchanan. Running time approximately 92 minutes; Good to very good quality for this hard-to-find footage on region-free disc. For collectors, completists and guitar enthusiasts only, casual fans may not be pleased with the quality here.

Thirty years later, it's still ironic that someone who was so influential, is still so little-known and overlooked.
Here, the Fender Telecaster guitarist is spotlighted the year of his first release "Buck & The Snake Stretchers." Many of those songs are performed.Includes clips of Bill Graham,Nils Lofgren, Merle Haggard and Johnny & Shuggie Otis. In interview segments Buchanan discusses his influences. Many of the live segments were filmed at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York City.

Selections include:

I Love You a Thousand Ways (w/Merle Haggard)
Sweet Home Chicago (w/Johnny Otis)
Them Changes
Sweet Dreams
Johnny B Goode
Down By the River
By the Time I Get to Phoenix
The Messiah Will Come Again

filmed for possible future video release that never happened
luck was not on lizzy's side that night - the video tape broke
halfway through the gig, the gig was halted

Thin Lizzy live at the Dominion Theater. Evidently, the video had only recently been re-discovered.
Everyone had thought that all copies of the video had been destroyed, since Philip  had hated it. He thought that the band didn't look particularly good in the video,  due in no small part to the fact that Snowy White hardly moved at
all on stage and  was a total bore to watch. The show had originally been filmed with the intention of commercial release, but Philip hated it. Consequently, it was shelved.  The footage that we were treated to appeared to have been filmed largely from a balcony on the side of the stage. Truthfully, it was nowhere near as exciting to watch as the Live And Dangerous video. Yet, it was still a great thrill to see unreleased concert footage of Thin Lizzy of ANY sort. Let's face it, there isn't  a whole lot of legitimate Lizzy footage out there, so ANYTHING is pretty exciting. And in reality the footage that I saw was no worse (and probably better) than the  "The Boys Are Back In Town" video, although anyone would admit that Gary Moore is  100% more exciting to watch on stage than Snowy White.  So there you have it. Yes, the Dominion Theater footage *does* exist, although it's doubtful that it'll ever be released. After all, why would the band's management want to release a  rare live concert, when they can release a box set made up of 95% previously released studio material that requires no remixing or remastering?

This is my first audio mix, so please consider this fact :P Anyway the final
result is really very good in my opinion. PopMuzik and Hallelujah were missing on
the audio recording I used for the mix so I kept the original DVD audio for them.
Please note that the 2 cameras are well mixed but not perfectly so audio can be in
sincro with the left cam and out of sincro of 50 or 100 milliseconds with the right
cam or viceversa. Anyway it's all about very very small gaps!

The band started off with "Baby please don´t go", but this track was
cut-off because Van wasn't satisfied with it. I was at this show and
I can tell you, he absolutely freaked out during this song, shouting
at Johnny Scott. I really don't know what happened, but Van sure did!
